Our Campaign Featured by the Associated Press
In 2016, our campaign we started 4 years prior to uncover climate denial networks and undue donor influence was featured by the Associated Press. Reprinted across 100+ papers including the Washington Post, New York Times, and The Guardian, who covered our efforts over the years.
Our campaign and nonprofit expanded to universities across the country, and our efforts culimated in a Virginia Supreme Court case and legislation to remedy the malpractice.
We provided research and support for two award-winning books: Dark Money: The Hidden History of the Billionaires Behind the Rise of the Radical Right by Jane Mayer (Top 10 NYT Book of the Year) and Democracy in Chains: The Deep History of the Radical Right's Stealth Plan for America by Nancy MacLean (LA Times Book Prize)
